Hydra

Hydra revisits the symbol of snake through abstract and minimal aesthetics. From Greek mythology to Chinese culture, snakes are in collective imaginaries everywhere in the world. Protective, caring, or daunting, sometimes evil, the mythic animal shows various moods. This interpretation highlights the ambivalence of human perception regarding the snake. Its body uency provides a sense of enchantment, while its thorny metal framework brings a sense of hostility and fear. Light ux giving movement to the beast increases this double perception. Hydra body is fully modular, adapting to any given space by modifying the shape of its curves and lines.
