L’Enfant Lumière

Monumental video projection

L’Enfant Lumière is a monumental video projection created for Lyon Festival of Lights 2024 by The Lightning Hope, a collective of artists brought together by Emilien Guesnard. For the music composition, Emilien called the inimitable Cédric Béron who asked renowned musicians such as Théo Charaf and Marion Leclercq.

A bluesy atmosphere in the air, vast landscapes, the intensity of black and white: a poetic animated film that plays with the emotional power of our imagination. Light, Emilien’s main means of expression, is here the common thread of a story that oscillates between dream and reality, with a few nods to the artist’s past work.

A dedicated area was set aside for disabled visitors, including the loan of audio-description headsets and vibrating vests.
