Web

WEB is an allegory of the digital world taking the shape of a woven sculpture that is anchored on the existing elements of the landscape. The light of the laser projected on the canvas brings dynamism transforming the network of the canvas into a flow of information. The installation transcribes the invisible and intangible character of the digital world, which is nevertheless very present. This digital web that connects us to each other, allows us to communicate via data flows. It has taken a dominant place in our lives and changed our relationship to the world. 

The work underlines the ambivalence of this network, which is both fascinating and not without danger. Has this web that we have woven connected us or captured us?
