Organ – in situ adaptation
On the occasion of Lueurs de Mantes light festival, artist Nicolas Paolozzi made an in situ adaptation of his audiovisual work Organ, in the stunning church of Mantes-la-Jolie.
At the crossroads of light and sound, Organ interacts with the architecture of the space, revealing and enhancing its beauty. Composed of LED tube panels and accompanied by a laser projection, it highlights the lines and volumes of the environment, transforming the structure into a true visual composition.
In sync with an enchanting musical score, the interplay of lights follows the rhythm with precision, heightening the intensity of the sensory experience. This immersive interaction creates a large-scale spectacle where light becomes an instrument and architecture, a vibrant stage of emotions.
Both lightweight and refined, Organ seamlessly blends into its surroundings, offering a poetic and majestic reinterpretation of the space. Its minimalist technical setup allows for a flexible and adaptable implementation while delivering a monumental and immersive experience.
