“Les Yôkai” is a dreamlike mapping that plunges spectators, children and adults alike, into the mysterious and bewitching world of the Yôkai.
It’s Yuguré (twilight) in Japan: the sun sets over Tokyo’s countless alleyways, shadows lengthen and eyes close. Then begins the Nipponese dream in which a fantastic world awakens: that of the Yôkai. These mischievous and vengeful beings intrude on dreams, haunting the sleep of little people and disturbing the night of great men. In each Yôkai live secret and fabulous stories that shape the imagination and build one of the many myths of the archipelago.
