Unity – Electropicales festival

Unity : Electropicales festival

UNITY was at Electropicales festival from October 4 to 13th, 2024

A thin and fragile structure to explore the concept of the links that shape our environment, forming a harmonious whole.
The installation is suspended in space and seems to float like an abstract representation of a whole: equilibrated and elusive.

Lotus – Bilbao White Night

Lotus : Bilbao White Night

On June 14 and 15, the emblematic Lotus by artist Nicolas Paolozzi were presented at Gau Zuria Bilbao (White Night in Basque). Installed in the Euskalduna estanque, their petals of light were reflected in the water as the tide rose, creating a soothing, relaxing atmosphere.

The Lotus flower, a positive symbol of renewal and spirituality, invites individual and collective meditation. The dimensions of the work invert the relationship of scale: here, man is the size of an insect immersed in immense nature.

Cymopolée – Paris White Night

Cymopolée : Paris White Night

From June 1 to 15, Cymopolée the tornado of lights blew across the forecourt of Sénart theater, as part of Paris White Night festival.

This artwork exposes a climatic phenomenon that usually forms far from our latitudes. But the findings of IPCC reports show that tornadoes will become more frequent and intense here. Benjamin Nesme & Marc Sicard have created a two-pronged approach to light and sound: on the one hand, a naturalistic, immersive evocation of the passage of a tornado over the city. On the other, a narrative that transcribes the emotions linked to the consequences of climate change and our collective responsibilities: fear, anger, nostalgia, hope. Beyond catastrophism, Cymopolée contrasts the urgency of the situation with the calm after the storm.

A breeze of poetry for a breath of fresh air.

Order 2OO – Mons Light Festival

Order 2OO – Mons Light Festival

Order 2OO, Emilien Guesnard’s audiovisual installation, was at Mons en Lumières last January, Wallonia’s first Festival of Lights.

200 nautical lamps are aligned at regular intervals in perfect symmetry on either side of a minimalist structure. This open structure offers the public a fascinating plunge into the heart of the installation. Musical notes associated with each lamp generate a strange score of light and sound. Set to a musical composition by Cédric Béron, the perspective effect of this work suggests a hypnotic depth, wherever you look from. Intersecting lines and points of light, blurred by mist, create chaos in this enclosed space. Order2OO evokes the duality of order and disorder, almost organically intertwined.
